<br /><br />
</b></b></b></b><p><b><b><b><b>Just returned from a short trip to Mallorca staying
neat Pollensa. One thing I did not find much about before the trip was the
light railway that runs on the island. All lines run to&nbsp; <b></b></b></b></b></b></p><p><b><b><b><b><b>Palma - Inca - Manacor <b></b></b></b></b></b></b></p><p><b><b><b><b><b><b>and <b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></p><p><b><b><b><b><b><b><b>Palma - Inca - Sa Pobla <b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></p><p><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b> The tickets can be bought from a touch screen machine (with an English option)
and are very cheap. The train is a new diesel powered rapid transit type running on
a narrow gauge line. From San Pablo in
the north it takes about 40 minutes to Palma.
A far better way to get into Palma
than by car with the traffic and parking hassle. <b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></p><p><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b>Note:</b> This is not the tourist railway to Soller.</b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></p><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><a href="http://tib.caib.es/terrestre/index_tren.en.htm"> </a><a href="http://tib.caib.es/terrestre/index_tren.en.htm">The web site for the railway</a></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b><p><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></p><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><a href="http://tib.caib.es/terrestre/index_tren.en.htm"></a></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b></b><p><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><b><i>
